Must hold a valid Mississippi Department of Education certification with endorsement 962-Career Pathway: Sports Medicine

OR

Must have earned a four-year college degree (bachelor's degree) or higher from an accredited institution of higher education in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or closely related field as approved by MDE Supervisor of Program Area AND have at least one year of verifiable occupational experience in the past ten years. Experience must be appropriate to the subject to be taught.

Must possess and maintain CPR Certification for Health Care Provider Basic Life
Support through the American Heart Association.
