English Language Learner (ELL) Interventionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement English instruction for ELL students
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to maximize student learning
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop language programs
- Provide support and guidance to ELL students
- Develop lesson plans and materials to meet individual student needs
- Facilitate parent and community involvement
- Participate in staff development activities
English Language Learner (ELL) Interventionist Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Hold a MS teacher license with endorsement 119-English (7-12)
- Knowledgeable in language acquisition
- At least 2 years of experience teaching ELL students
- Experience using a variety of teaching methods and materials
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Patience and understanding of cultural differences
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
